History
PRODIRA began in 1988 with the founding of Casa de Cambio Río García in the city of Río Grande, Zacatecas with the purpose of professionalizing the purchase and sale of foreign currency. Later, PROMOTORA DE DIVISAS REAL DE ANGELES Centro Cambiario was created, a company that with its growth provided foreign currency purchase and sale and remittance payment services primarily in the states of Zacatecas and Durango.
Therefore, thanks to the professionalism and control of the company, Prodira, S.A. de C.V., Casa de Cambio, Actividad Auxiliar del Crédito, a Mexican capital company, was authorized in 2003 to satisfy the needs of foreign exchange, currency exchange through transfers and national or international transfers.

Regulated and supervised
The Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP) granted us the authorization to operate in the Mexican Financial Sector as an Exchange House. We are an auxiliary credit institution regulated and supervised by the Bank of Mexico, the National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV), the National Commission for the Protection and Defense of Financial Services Users (CONDUSEF) and the Securities and Savings Banking Unit (UBVA) of the SHCP.
